This is a bit of a cliche, but clearly I’m not the only one fascinated by this seemingly magical place. One day I’ll get round to telling the 20-year-old tale of the Tarot card reader and the Inca Trail, but first I need to find a cheaper way to get there!

Getting there

It is possible to overland to Cuzco from Lima, but it is far easier to fly. From Cuzco it should be easy to find tours departing for Machu Picchu on a regular basis.
