Monkey temples! Do I really need to say more than that? Cambodia also offers great value for money along with close access to other similarly cheap SE Asian countries. Much more information to follow, but let me repeat, monkey temples!Â

Visas
So this is an odd one, compounded by the fact that Cambodia doesn’t have an diplomatic representation in Pretoria. There are sites promoting the e-visa, which costs about R1350 and takes a few days and is only valid at the larger points of entry. Less mentioned is that South Africans can get a visa on arrival, for a fee of just $30.
The tourist visa allows for a single entry and 30 days of travel. The e-visa is valid for 90 days from the date it is issued (but stillonly allows for 30 days in the country). I’ve yet to confirm, but some sites indicate that the tourist visa can be extended for 30 days.
