Until November 2023 there used to be a visa, but there has been a new waiver agreed upon between SA and Ghana. This allows for 90 days of cumulative travel in the country over the period of 1 year. Should that quota be exceeded for the year, then a visa is required. More details at ghanahighcommission-southafrica.com
Getting there
Open-ended flights from Cape Town to Accra Google search shows a R14K return flight on Ethiopean Airways with 15 hours travel time.
